Your central air needs Freon R-22, do not use it, it is going to damage your compressor.

Check the leak first, fix it and fill up Freon R-22 by professional licensed AC person.

York Diamond 90 furnace blows cold air

There maybe a few issues. They have multiple safeties on furnaces. With this in mind this process to find the problem would take a Technician to check these safeties. It could be a flame sensor or thermocoupler each senses a flame or heat to keep the gas going. Also the damper for the flue must open for the gas to stay on. There may be more safeties on this and each safety sends a 24 volt current back to control module in order for the gas valve to stay open. If these aren't being met it will try around three times and go into a lock out mode which will keep gas shut off entirely.

I have a 2001 Ford Mustang V6, the ac is blowing warm air. We checked the refrigerant and it is full. The ac compressor will kick on for a few seconds and then kick off. Why is the compressor not staying...

it's either low (in spite of your readings) or your a/c clutch is not working correctly or you have too big an air gap in the clutch.
First, just disconnect the 2 pin connector from the a/c pressure cycling swithc and jumper the 2 pins with a wire to force the clutch to stay engaged. See if it blows cold then, and stays engaged. You can run this way for about 15 minutes before you have to pull the plug.
report reulsts.

1996 Lincoln Town Car. A/c will not blow out cool air. All things under the hood seems to be working correctly(sweaty/cold line, a/c compressor comes on, system has been recharged with no sign of leak,...

Control dampner switch okay from looking at the fron of the car on the passenger side youll see a group of vacuum hose plastic connecting to a junction make sure none of the are broken Two of the control the vent control and inside tempurature. Once it disconnect you no longer have mixture control. Do you remember when it was working fine and you turn off the car and you heard that little hissing noise? Well that line is now disconnected

Unless we set the thermostat very high, like 80 degrees, the heater will blow cold air. When the heat does blow, it will eventually stop blowing heat and the fan will continue to blow cold air.

Check and make sure the filter is clean. This sounds like a restriction in the system. If the unit has central cooling make sure ther indoor evaporator coil is clean at the furance. The unit may be cycling the burners on and off at the high heat limit , fan/limit control. You can also eliminate the thermostst from the furance. Turn power off at the furnace and disconnect the wiring from the thermostat. Jumper the red and white wire together. Turn the furnace back on. The furance should run in the heating mode. Try this and see if the problem is still there.

RUUD AC cycles warm & cold 24/7

Hello Anna Sounds like the compressor is overheating and stoping on overload internally. Then it cools down restarts and runs into overload again.I would like to see the freon pressures when running.Could have a clog/restriction in piping.I dont like that you went thru a compressor already, the original installition is suspect. The original (1st) failure cause must be corrected.Check the TXV valve replace, filter/dryer look for a kinked pipe are ideas for overheating.Make sure condenser coil is free (ari flow)& clean also.

Gas heater doesn't stay on longer than 5 minutes.

It sounds to me that your air flow is restricted somewhere. The first thing to check is your air filter. If that gets real dirty your restricted air flow will cause the hi-limit(hi temperature limit switch) in your heat exchanger compartment to over heat and open up your gas valve electrical circuit, thus, shutting off the gas to your burners. After the hi-limit switch cools down the furnace will go back to heating again then it will overheat again(you get the picture?) If it keeps cycling on and off like that the house will never get warm if it is cold outside. If your air filter is reasonably clean(you should be able to see light thru it easily) then the secondary heat exchanger could also be dirty, this is located above the indoor fan housing, you would need to pull the indoor blower assembly out of the furnace and look up above. The secondary heat exchanger looks similar to a radiator will fins. You can use a medium stiff plastic brush to brush the dirt, hair, whatever off of it. Another problem spot would be the cooling evaporator coil (if you have central airconditioning) located most likely above the furnace in the plenum(if your furnace is in a basement). This usually is difficult to access if an access cover wasn't installed when the airconditioning was installed. I would recommend an experience service tech to clean it for you. Also make sure all you supply air registers and return air registers are open . These are the things I would check first. Good luck!!
