It doesnt matter if its a umd video or game. just go to google and type in "umd case repairments" and see what you find

My psp wont read any games do you know why this is?

Try cleaning the lens of your ROM. I believe they make lens cleaning discs for the mini ROMs like those in your PSP. If cleaning the lens doesn't fix the problem, then your Mini-disc ROM is likely malfunctioning \ broken. If this is the case, and your PSP isn't under warranty anymore, then you're probably better off buying a new PSP, because it will cost more than it's worth to have the ROM fixed or replaced by a professional - if your can even find someone capable of fixing it for you.

I dropped my psp while i was playing a game and now, when i play that particular game it hangs. i tried playing the other games saved in my memory card and they all work perfectly well i tried to reformat...

If you purchased the game from the PSN redownload it....If you are using a UMD then inspect the casing for the disc and make sure there isnt a piece of plastic broken on the casing, I had a game that had a piece of plastic that had broken off and lodged itself inside the casing and when I played it it scratched the disc so bad it wouldnt work

Psp wont read the disc unless you hold the door shut w/o ...

If you dropped it, then the reader may be a little messed up. If the case around the disc is popped open a little bit, closing it all the way might stop the disc from spinning, resulting in not reading the disc. The only thing I recommend is to contact Customer Support on the Playstation website. They might be able to help you fix the problem or have you send it in. www.playstation.com

My psp show on the screen (the disc coult not be read) can that fixet?

Yea it also depends on what kind of file it is. If its a homebrew then you will need to get custom firmware your psp. But if its a game then check the cd case to see if its broken or not.

I Have PSP 1001 model

Sucks, I know... But cutting the disc holder sounds all wrong my friend; taking it into a repair center would be cheaper than buying a new one. I know others that Mod their broken PSP and add things like a Hard Drive to it; that's all at your own risk. Moreover, most still go out and buy another PSP that hasn't been modified.

Psp

is it a scratching scrapping noise?

as some UMD cases, as in the plastic thing around the disc colapse or come apart this stops the disc spinning properly.

Check the plastic on the UMD... click any sides together that may be loose / or make sure the case isnt pushing on the disc.

Also open the PSP, hold it upside, gently shake it & blow into it.

Put the UMD back in & try again.
