Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies

I bought an F2180 3in1 on the 12th of June 2008. At first it worked ok then it started to refuse to take commands to print claiming that there was no paper. Since then it does not even respond to any command as if it is not even connected. I have tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling but that has not worked, I have tried disconnecting the power as suggested in your manual. So what do I do next?

Many thanks but help no longer required as I went and got a replacement, HP agreed that I had got a dud. Regards rsw

Yes they will not honour warranty over battery issues But if you read the fine print they will disclose what they except as a warranty claim you need to study this before making a claim as it will be very much in their favour they should also state what will not be accepted as a claim so study that and you will have the knowledge on warranty claims that will work

My printer spoler is not working


Hi g k,
Have you tried restarting the print spooler from services?
Start the Print Spooler service from the Services console
  1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.
  2. Right-click the Print Spooler service, and then click Stop.
  3. Right-click the Print Spooler service, and then click Start.
Start the Print Spooler service at command prompt
  1. Click Start, click Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
  2. Type the following commands at the command prompt: net stop spooler
    net start spooler
    exit
    Note Press ENTER after each command line.

YYes. As long the person who will going to claim it should have an authorization letter that will allow him/her to get the document. he /She need also to have your valid id and his/her valid id to get it.

It seems like you have a driver problem.

Go to this page, select your operative system and download the latest drivers.

Then go to "control panel", double click on printers and select the Pixma.

right click it and select delete

If windows ask you about deleting the files, select yes.

Then install the new drivers and you should be good to go.

ok, have you tried reinstalling the drivers for your CD/DVD ROM? After reinstalling reboot the system if this doesn't work chances are it could be a hardware problem.

Can you please restart your computer with your printer connected. Check for cartridge whether it has adequate ink.

try printing again and if it refuses to print just come back and advise me.

Hi it is the issue with the Print spooler
please refresh it :-
  1. Click Start, click Run, type command, and then click OK to display the command.com window.
  2. Type net stop spooler, then press <Enter>.
  3. Type sc config spooler depend= RPCSS start= Auto, then press <Enter>. The spaces between = and RPCSS and = and Auto are important. Without these spaces, the command fails.
  4. Type net start spooler,then press <Enter>.
