Question about Whirlpool LHW0050PQ Front Load Washer
My Duet Sport is making a horrible clanking noise on the spin cycle. I suspect some change or a button or something has worked its way between the drum and the housing. I have removed the top cover and can't see anything obvious that might be causing the noise. How do I open it up to find the source? I don't want to remove more parts than I have to!
I had the same problem but I was able to fix, by adding some rubber to the drain hose clamps located on top of the electronics box inside the back on the bottom left. No more noise!
Hope this helps!!

Had one do this. Turn machine around look at bottom two corners. Machine comes with metal rods to stabilize drum during shipping. Installer forgot to pull those out on mine. Once I removed them noise quit.
