The printer wont let me do anything because it says I have an alignment problem and to take the tape off of ink cartridge but there is no tape! Its not a new cartridge I don't know what its talking...

May be dry the ink or refill ink cartridge so , it could't properly ink out the nozzle. If possible u can batter manually clean the print head. Then try to it. Otherwise need to change the ink cartridge.

How do I know how much ink is left in my c3135 printer

Welcome to Fixya.

Here's how to determine the ink levels for your inkjet printer :

HPC3135 Ink Level check

Please see my additional reminders :
  • If the printing quality diminishes, it's a good time to check your ink levels.
  • Change your cartridge often for good printing quality.
  • If you refill the cartridge, the ink level indicator may not be accurate.
  • Don't wait until the last minute to change your cartridge.
Thanks for using Fixya.

Describe how to change printer to print only black from my computer. I am out of color ink and don't know how to change the settings from my computer.

Unfortunately, you need both ink cartridges to print with this printer.

you can print grayscale (black/white) by:

This for XP:

Start
Settings
Printers and faxes
Right click the printer icon an select printer preferences
Click the color tab and select grayscale

Windows 7:

Start
Devices and Printers
Right click the printer icon
Select printer preferences
Select features tab
Scroll down and add a dot to grayscale

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response

Thanks, Joe

Where does the ink cart. go for a cbm 1000?

Do you actually have an ink cartridge for a citizen cbm 1000 ? Because as far as I know they are all thermal printers that do not use ink cartridges they use heat sensitive paper. Which is why they are used in retail as they don't have to change ink cartridges as well as paper and are much more reliable.

My printer shows "offline". How do I get it online?

Did you recently change the ink cartridges=? Did you use third party or refilled cartridges?

If so, that may be the problem. Some printers have logic in them to drop offline if ink other that the manufacturer's is used.

If you are using factory new ink, please let me know and I/ll continue to try and assist you.

Need to change ink cartridge

First you must identify which model Epson printer you have by going here.

You can either select your printer from the list, or enter the model number.

Once you have found your printer, it will tell you the model ink cartridges it requires, and even where to buy them.

We will need to know the model number of the Epson printer to be able to assist with the actual process of installation, as it can vary between printers.

I need to know how to change the ink cartridge in my printer. i have the ne w cartridge---i do not have a manual what are the terms you want me to agree to? do not want to be on a facebook---i just want a...

I don't have any terms for you. I'll just respond to your question.

First, I have a boiler plate response I provide regarding the use of inks.

"
Are you using a factory new ink cartridge?
If you are using a refilled or third party cartridge that may well be your problem. Most manufacturers build logic into their products to prevent the use of “Other Equipment Manufactured” cartridges as well as re-filled cartridges.
They do this to prevent problems from contaminated inks causing problems with print quality or damaging the physical printhead."
Here is a link to the instructions you need.
