My all in one injet printer A940 will not print


uninstall the software for your printer. Go into add/remove programs and remove the programs for the printer that are listed in there.

After that reconnect the printer and reinstall the software. Make sure it goes thru properly with no errors. Then also make sure that this printer is setup as the default. Go into the control panel and into the printers icon and make sure this printer is setup as the default, right click on the printer and choose "set as default".

Once you do all of this, go ahead and try to print a test page. If it doesn't print it then you know at that point the printer itself is bad cause the drivers are installed properly.

My a940 will not feed the paper. the error message


Here is the Dell support page the gives instructions for this errror, (though not overly helpful, I'm afraid.) See also instructions here, here, here,
If none of those steps correct the problem, reset the printer by following these instructions.

Printer prints in colour but not in black ink


did you chech if the clack cartridge is empty or not..?

Not printing. shows error 50C


Cartridge Error 50C
Your print cartridge has shorted.

Power off your All-in-One and unplug it.
Plug in your All-in-One again and turn it on.
Uninstall and then reinstall your cartridges.
If this does not resolve the issue, try the troubleshooting steps for the other cartridge errors below.

hmm..ok..if the test page is good, then it's in the drivers. get new ones, remove old ones first, re install try again.

Cartridge error 50C on Dell printer A940


Can you pull out the catridges and make sure you have taken the plastic off the gold strips properly. That can cause errors as there will be no connection to the printer. I hope it's a simple solution and this helps you

Dell A940 Color Ink Problem


Do check the option and make sure that you have not inadvertently set it to black only- This could be computer wise or on the A940 panel. If you are sure all is well here Remove the scanner software and reinstall. Email Dell to See what they have to say
