Power outlet

Sometimes accumulation of kitchen dirt can reduce contact on the outlet . If you can use a contact cleaning spray or even a WD40 into the contact it might help. If not you will need to open the outlet to confirm the case of power within the unit. Failure of power means the circuit must be traced back but presence of power confirms the switch fault.
You can use a holder and bulb to confirm the power along with a line tester to confirm if the phase is present. A multimeter is not an expensive investment but must be careful to use in the correct range.

Midiland 8200 (ADS 4000 controller) 5.1 hum problem

You may have an earth loop problem. This is caused by connect various equipment to different mains power outlets.
Connect all the PCs, audio and speakers to a single mains power outlet, use a power board so they are connected to the one mains power outlet.
I suggest you use a power board that has a built-in surge protection.

My SP console keeps turning itself of when I turn it on even when its been charged

If the system remains powered on when connected directly to an electrical outlet, then you are likely looking at a bad battery. If the problem persists even when the SP is plugged into an electrical outlet for charging, then you likely have some circuitry damage and may need to replace the entire SP.

Mr printer won't turn on. It is plugged in and hooked in to my computer. It has been working before today.

Check power cable
Try connecting it to directwal outlet not power strip

check the power cables if it has power adapter with green ligh on it if it has then check the power cord connected directly on wall outlet try to use it in some devices compatible to it

lastly take advantage to you canon support if you printer is covered with warranty they can find better solutions even replacement too!

Hope I gave you even a bit of idea.

Thanks

Cannot turn on the printer even if connections are ok ?

The only thing that could stop you from turning the printer on other than a broke printer is the power/power cord is not connected. The printer should turn on without a USB or parallel printer cable attached.

If no lights are showing when you try to power the printer, check the power connection in the back of the printer to ensure it is plugged in, check the plug into the adapter is connected and that the power cord's plug is connected to the wall outlet - if you have a power strip make sure it is turned on and the circuit breaker is not popped. Make sure that there is power to the outlet by plugging in something else to show it has power. If all of those check out ok and you have a meter, check for voltage at the power connector at the printer (pull the plug out of the printer and check voltage from inside the plug to outside the plug. It should be 18 vac.

If all of this is ok, there is something wrong inside the printer. Probably time for a new one as cost to repair is probably too high.

My dryer will run for a while but then it stops. I can still hear the timer ticking and if I push the button again the dryer will run again.

My Best Guess would be a bad power connection, or just a bad connection, A bad timer or Bad Motor

I would ckeck the power cord connections first and even the outlet. Making sure all the wiring is sucure.

Of course make sure you turn off the breaker to the outlet befor serviceing and unplug the machine befor serviceing

Wii will not turn on even though it has power and everything is connected. Help?

This is a common problem with the Wii. Even if it's hooked up to a surge protector. If there was a power surge, or the power went out, etc...anything, this will happen. The problem is with the AC adapter, not the Wii itself.

There is a circuit inside the AC adapter that needs to be reset. Unplug the AC adapter from the wall/surge protector outlet. Don't unlpug it from the Wii, it has to be at the outlet. You have to kill power to the adapter.

Unlpug it from the wall/surge protector outlet, and leave it unplugged for 5 or 10 minutes. This will kill power to the AC adapter, and give the circuit time to reset. When you plug the adapter back into the outlet after 5 or 10 minutes, the red led on the front should be lit up.
