Question about Biostar K8M800-M7A Motherboard
I fixed part of the problem by going into integrated peripherals and ensured the foll:-
on chip serial ata-enabled
set ide channe to auto
look at hdd priority asettings

Had that problem myself today and got it somewhat resolved. You need to install storage controllers on your system. These can be found on the CD provided woth your motherboard or the manufacturer's website.
