Water leaking from freezer

Last summer we had 2 repairmen out to discover that the water hose had a crack in it. Unfortunately this leak ruined our hardwood floors around the fridge.

Now we have water trickling out from the freezer side and we keep putting a dish towel down while we are tryng to figure this one out. My husband and already made adjustments to the temperature and even cleaned some fan that can get plugged. I am ready again to call a repairmen to our hous. I wish we had known prior to our purchase that it would take 2 repairmen to move this monster.

If the water input for the ice maker is not leaking ,have him check the defrost timer. It has stopped(like a clock)on the defrost mode, while the compressor is trying to freeze the coils. It ends up a watery mess.If I can help anymore.please let me know.

Also, can be a crack on the plastic hose, close to the inlet water valve.

Water leaking from the bottom of the refrigerator

You could have a clogged drain line or a cracked drain pan. I would start with the drain line.

A 2 to 21/2 year old Samsung bottom mount freezer RB217ABPN purchased from Costco. Water is starting to collect under the crisper drawers in the fridge section. This is the third time in a couple of months...

You have a leaking water tank behind the crisper drawer. You will need to get back there to determine if the tank is leaking or the water connection is leaking. This will only leak if you close the door and dispense water from the dispenser.

Water leaks every 5-7 days from the freezer. I

If your water valve is not closing properly, it will do that. The water valve is not very expensive. If you have ice and water in the door, there are 2 water valves. Replace BOTH! If one is weak, the other is not too far from giving out too.

I know this is strange but here goes. I have a Kenmore Coldspot side by side Refrigerator. This past summer, it was leaking water out the front freezer door. We turned off the water and called a repair...

Turn off the fridge. Remove the freezer bins in the bottom. Defrost the drain line with a hair dryer. It is on the lower back portion of the freezer. Break up the ice on the freezer floor and dispose of it.
Discard any old freezer food. Change out the water supply line with a copper line if you are using a plastic line.

The refrigerator is leaking water routinely and had repairmen work on this problem several times to no avail

Of course if it has an ice maker, look for leaks in the water line. Also look to see if it is draining properly during the defrost cycle. It may be partially plugged with ice or debris from the freezer. Check the drain tube for rotten places or cracks and lastly the drain pan for cracks. These are all very frequent repairs i run into.

Water tube extension

it sounds like the water inlet valve is bad. if it slowly leaks it will cause the water to freeze inside the inlet tube extension blocking water from entering the icemaker and it could leak around the extension tube. after freezing solid the tube may have a crack in it as well. so replace the water valve and take out the inlet tube and extension tube and inspect it for cracks and make sure they mate properly (you can glue them if you want but it might make it harder to clean out if you have the same problem again). a clamp or tie strap may help.
