Question about Ricoh CL3000E Laser Printer

Error message on my Ricoh CL3000

Hello,

Please help me I am desperate, I have a Ricoh CL 3000 and in the middle of printing some color copies and the print just changed color. I did a color registration and now the error light comes on saying Color Regis. Error. I have plugged out the machine and restarted it and nothing is working. Please help as I am really stuck.

I had the same problem with the color cpu and found that the gear/clutch was broken. I put it back on but it still does not register. Where do you find parts like that without replacing the entire unit?

To elaborate - what i see happening is that the yellow toner seems to be missing (and yes I have replaced the toner). All of the other colors are printing fine. What would stop just one color from printing? I am in the Caribbean with no Ricoh center in my island, any help would be appreciated

What do you mean changed color, please elaborate so i can help you out, in similar scenario it could be a sliping clutch that controls the developing unit causing the respective color to disengage while working on, M, C Y, K pls identify which is which, if you can try one of each color independently as a diuagnostic then youcan start from there which color is malfunctioning,remember the combination of each color depends upon each other color, thus maybe is the reason you can see a sudden changed of color

    chances are the yellow toner developing unit is not engaging, as what you said you have replaced the toner (y) this would not mean anything if the unit that caries the toner (developing unit)fails to engage, in many scenario either the clutch is not working at all (y developer assy) or the mechanism that drives the unit fails to operate, try opening the covers and observed the situation while in actual operation this time use yellow only..

Installed a duplex unit in Ricoh CL 3000 not working.


You will have to find in printer driver ----> change accessories and you will have to CHECK duplex unit. Then you will be able to use the duplex.

My RICOH AFICIO CL3000 give me an error message SC441, what to do ?


Did you just replace your color PCUs (photoconductor units)? If so, one of the new units may be defective. Try reinstalling the old units to see if the problem goes away (after resetting the machine). If it does, you can replace the PCUs one by one to see which one is bad.

If you still get the sc441 even with the old PCUs (or if you don't have them anymore) install a set of new PCUs and that should fix the problem. On the off chance the problem doesn't go away even with new PCUs, contact your local service company because you may have a bad circuit board, motor, or gear.

Ricoh CL3000 error sc441


sc441 is a drum motor error. It could be caused by anything from a faulty circuit board to a bad motor, but the most likely fix (and the easiest) is to replace the color PCUs (photoconductor units) which I believe all come as one set.

Turn the machine off and unplug it from the wall, then install the new PCUs, plug it back in and turn it on. There's a good chance your printer will work fine. If the sc441 error comes back, you should contact your local service company and have them take a look at it, because the problem is either electrical or mechanical.

Has bee my default printer until now. Connection to router is fine, will not print - only gives error message. none of the buttons on the control panel work. online light is out. is this a big fix or...


go to the control panel, select printers and double check if the Ricoh Aficio CL3000 Laser Printer was selected as a default printer. you can check it by right clicking the printer name and choose set as default.

How to clear the pcu code


The printer is set to display the "replace PCU" message after a set number of copies. The only way to clear the message is to replace the color PCU that the message mentions.

Error SC 411 appears


SC411: Separation bias error
