My motheboard is asus m4a88t-m,corsair vx550 psu,wd 1 tb green edition .My problem is that my pc hangs while playing movies, games after i installed nvidia drivers for my graphics card.I have both windows XP 64 bit and Win 7 64bit installed. In windows 7 my pc hangs on log on screen but sometimes it manages to log on and I play movies or games it again hangs.Same is with XP.So I uninstall the drivers and then it was working properly. It works perfectly in safe mode with drivers installed.I have installed the latest nvidia drivers by removing the old drivers using driver sweeper in safe mode but still it is of no use.Now I have disconnected my graphics card and is now working with my onboard motherboard graphics to play movies and games and is working fine.My monitor is aoc 18.5" razr led. Please find a solution for it.

First I want you to download Hardware Monitor v1.17 from CPUID. I have a Zotac GTS450 and it gets to about 82 degrees Celcius under heavy load with no problems; and 36 degrees Celcius at idle, with this I need you to see how hot your card gets before it freezes. If it is higher than 82 during gameplay then it may just be the case that it is getting too hot. Do you have sufficient fans in your case? I would also suggest a clean out of the system to get out any dust as dust can cause an increase in heat levels.

I cannot configure a SATA RAID 1 to mirror two WD HDD 1 TB

You sure you installed the ASUS RAID drivers when you installed Windows? Ya need to get the drivers off the ASUS disk, transfer them to a floppy, hit F6 when windows tells you to (during windows install...you only have a second or 2 to see the message!)) and use the floppy to install them. Might take a few tries to get it right.

Monitor goes into 'Power Saver Mode' on boot up!

You need to upgrade your motherboard BIOS to the latest version (V.5a) to support your DUAL CORE 2.5Ghz processor... that's the problem.

Asus P5N-E SLI Mobo will not boot or post.

Hi bart, please re-check you're memory. See page 1-17 in you're user manual. (Read everything)!
You're Asus board can not use 184-pin DDR DIMM's.
Also check the QVL list for supported memory page's 1-18 & 1-19.
I did not see Corsair on either page.
You're board can only use 240-pin DDR2 memory. Please read the "Notes" at the top of page 1-18.
If everything (Regarding memory) is within the Asus specifications than clear the cmos/bios & re-boot again. If you're system still does not boot than remove one DIMM & try again.
Asus warrants their boards for three years. Call Asus tech at
1-812-282-2787 EST, IL 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The call is on you but the service is free. It's worth every dime.

Good Luck & Kind Regards.
Would you be kind enough to let me know what Asus suggested? (If it comes to that).

Mike
