You can take a piece of tape or a small peice of paper (matchbook anything) and pin back the little tab in the middle towards the bottom that is pressed when you put the faceplate on or goto circuit city and steal one off the floor model i had the same prob gl

Pull the unit check for fuse on back of radio. Some units with detachable face have a reset button hole that requires a pen pushed into the hole to reset. Check for proper ground to the unit. If all checks out and no luck time for the manufacturers to repair the unit

if you can find another one from the same exact model number then yes it will fit and the best places to check for another one is Amazon.com, ebay.com, and craigslist.com in your area

How do you reset the password or completely do away with it to view DVD's ?


Their is a reset button under the detachable face plate it might help. Its the flashing light it should reset the unit

Face plate won't open


remove the battery from the car then spray the side of the faceplate frame with alcohol let dry completely then test

Face plate replacement


You can't find faceplates for card decks since that will defy the safety feature.
