I upgraded to win 7 ult. from starter fresh install on a acer d255 netbook and now i cant find the wifi driver

I guess, you mean the built in web cam is dead? (evidence key)
or that media means the software CD that makes it work is missing? (aka: missing camera drivers)

what OS is it W7 Starter edition (brain dead w7 windows)
what OS came with PC new?
what OS was upgraded to 7 if true.

Win 7 will use more resources and make it slower. It is a nice netbook, but still a netbook. Plus you need to consider drivers for, LAN, sound, and video.

you can install win xp ... as a second os ,,, or you can uninstall win7 and install a fresh copy of xp ,,, but you may need a copy of xp with ahci drivers included or else you'll get ( can't find any hard disc ) message ... win7 don't support upgrading or downgrading from another windows version (vista,ex...etc ) or to another version ...

you cant on the windows starter pack you have to upgrade to the full version of windows 7

Hello what model is your acer, you just pointed out it was an acer aspire one net book theres different models, however your best bet is when you do find out what model your acer aspire one is, go to google type in your model number then the webcam driver and the operating system which is windows 7, for example: acer aspire one netbook zg5 windows 7 webcam driver.
If your stuck just add what model number your acer aspire one net book is and i will be happy to help you out.

Reinstalling the operating system will surely make your computer faster. Since you do not have Windows 7 disk and you do not have hardware driver for your laptop. I suggest you send it to reformat to a technichian for a small fee and he will download the correct hardware driver for your netbook and then reinstall the fresh operating system. will sure will run your computer faster. As of now, there are no Windows 7 drivers for that monitor.
