I have rainbow 6 vegas and i lost all my ranking can i retrieve my profile. consol ps3

if it saves on other games it maybe that rainbow 6 disk is scratched a lot.

You might have overheated the console. Give it a while to cool down and try after that.

HI, the optical lens assembly has failed. either the lens has burned out or, the spin motor has failed as well.

replacing the optical lens assembly will correct this issue.

Contact Sony for this repair if possible.

Sounds like you've got a data issue related to the hard drive.

You should use the Restore to Factory Settings option under SYSTEM.

This should address the problem.

Also does the machine feel hot or does it sound loud?

I had the similar thing happen to me before on a different game and so I started playing back from the start by the next day I turned it on and everything was back to normal.

check your HDD of ps3,is it full of memory cause for your kind information there is a program when ps3 needs more memory than its creates short time developed cash as memory on HDD so, if you ahve full HDD than reate some blank space on HDD for memory for barer performance,
