Its a hard drive problem according to all the data my games guys tell me there is no easy fast fix the hard drive needs replacing or fixing by a lic microsoft tech.

System error code 68 means "The name limit for the local computer network adapter card was exceeded." This error code may also display as "ERROR_TOO_MANY_NAMES" or as the value 0x44.
I don't know what this has to do with using lightscribe and burning the CD's but perhaps your running this over a network?
This error pops up when your hard drive goes bad. Try pulling it out, then reconnecting it and see if that helps. If the error still persists, you may need to buy a new hard drive.
E 68 is a hard drive error, try removing the hard drive and turning the system on. If that works, turn off your system and reconnect the hard drive, then turn it back on, if it still works YAY!! If not, you may need a new hard drive....
The data sheet says "One of the buttons is stuck closed". If you can't solve this by inspecting & jiggling the buttons, open the lower front panel of the machine, & look behind it for the "Tech Data Sheet*. Follow the instructions for error 68.

this means some type of hardware failure and yes it can happen from time to time depending on whats wrong with the system...well i did some quick reserch and they say its a hard drive issue...so luckily you will only have to pay 100 dollars instead of buying a new system....unless you vae a warranty...hope this helps
