Question about Sunpentown Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

I have a WA-1230E and it was working fine yesterday. When I returned to the room, it was off and only the "comp" light was flashing. No button would have any effect and only unplugging the unit will turn it off. I did clean the filters which were very dirty, nearly clogged but the unit will not turn on? Solutions?

The flashing light indicates the water tank is full. Unscrew the cap at the back of the unit then pull the plug to drain it into a pan. Replace the plug and cap. The unit should work as normal.

Pause light is constantly flashing

Pause is not a term ive seen on a dehumidifier , but one would assume that its waiting for something to occur in that mode , and with these the only logicial reason to wait is to "wait" for Moisture to return to room , maybe your room has been voided of %rh to the setting on unit and its waiting for more water to return ??

Machine stopped - alarm light flashing

just saw this yesterday. remove the top rear paper guide. on the left side between the tractor feed and the input slot for the paper, there is a sensor flag that pivots. check for paper scrap caught under the flag. it prevents the flag movement, causes a paper out alarm.

Sounds like a problem with your cable connection. Check your coaxial cable, and the splitter from where the cable enters your home. The tech will use a signal meter to measure the quality of your cable, and then replace the wiring if necessary.

When you turn the plasma on do you get a solid indicator light on the front of the tv? You also get sound just fine, but a blank screen and no picture. I'm still looking for a definite answer, but I repaired a Hitachi 42edt41a that had the exact same problems. On that plasma there was an X-sustain board and a Y-sustian board that needed to be replaced. Hopefully someone else can give their assistance as well.

Air conditioner wont cool below 75 degrees

Hi, Does thermostat on a/c goes lower than 75? put hands close to air coming from a/c is it cold, like 50, if it's cold like 50, maybe you a/c are to small for space, check a/c b.t.u's ( british thermal units) how many b.t.u's is your a/c , there are a chart, for size of room and how many b.t.u's you'll need to cool space (room), or possible if air coming from a/c are 75, your compressor could be short cycling, it hard to tell when fans are working, listen carefully to hear if compressor makes clicking sound, place thermometer close to a/c vent and let me know temp, maybe there's freon leak. let me know temp of air coming out from a/c, then i could tell you exactly what's problem. good luck.

My Sunpentown WA-1220E portable air conditioner is not working. Comp light is flashing (red light). Any idea what could be wrong?

Sounds like compressor failure, overheat or some other reason can't get started. Make sure everything is clear and unplug and let it set for a while and try again. If that don't help take it to shop.
