Question about SanDisk Sansa E280 MP3 Player

Sansa E280 Hello again, its been awhile :D , um i have a problem. The problem is that i use to transfer movies through the sansa media converter and it works but now it doesn't anymore. It says missing a file or something and when i try to do it maunally drag a drop my sansa freezes and i have to reset it again. Can you please help. Thanks, Oh and for some reason i found my sansa missing all of its videos i had in there :l

    i tested it again on a different computer on the other pc i been getting weird errors but on this pc it didnt get an error but when i checked the sansa in video section it keeps saying Empty. I dont know what else to do i did the sansa video converter i checked my documents the converted video wasnt there and i thought it was suppose to im totally lost :( please help.

The thing you can do is that reinstall the the software using the updater you will be able to find it at

http://www.sandisk.com/DriverDownload/index.asp

and if this dose not work formet it to fat32 with the windows tool or what ever os you use

You need to use the Sansa Media Converter to convert pictures to a format the Sansa can handle. They also need to go into the internal memory, as the e280 will not display pictures from a microSD card.

Hello,
There's a user guide, readable with adobe reader, for e200v2 series on next site:

Read the first 9 pages giving details about the players' overview and system and files requirements.

Windows Media Player 11 can be used for data transfer as showed in the manual.

Sansa Media Converter should be used to convert videos and pictures in the appropriate file extension and size: notice, files should have certain formats before converting them.

Transferring dvds to sansa e280


just get another converter like anyvideoconverter then just put the converted file in the sansa converter or just convet the movie to mp4 using the anyvideoconveter

I had this same problem
What i did was go to an other computer and poped in the cd for sansa media converter and downloaded it.
If that dont work go to my computer and click on sansa e280 and format it.NOTE: this will delete EVREYTHING>

Rip the dvd's to your computer using a dvd-r drive, use the converter on the installation cd thats included and convert them to the right format, locate your file and drag it into your mp3's correct folder [My Computer]
