Try the 5 R's listed in the manual

if they fail, go ahead and call Apple to see if you can get a replacement - don't tell them that you dropped it

How can I use my iPod to watch on TV?

iPods are one of the most popular MP3 player. However, in addition to playing MP3s on your iPod, too many iPods play videos, but also on their own screen, allowing you to things like movies, music videos or cartoons to watch. Finally, an additional feature of the iPod is the ability to connect to a TV for watching videos without having to squint to see them in a tiny iPod screen.

1. Connect the end of the 3.5 mm AV Cable for iPod Earphone iPod.

2. Connect the RCA at the other end of the ports on the back of your TV.

3. Touch users go to the Settings section on your iPod, and tap "Video Settings" and select "TV On". IPhone and iPod can find the video settings by clicking the Settings application on the home screen.

4. Change the channel on your TV using the extra channel or any channel for RCA TV
Ipod droped in water

Apple installed a moisture sensor inside of all iPods so they can tell if one got wet...and void the warranty if it did. You may find someone online who fixes them, however it's probably cheaper to buy a new one or a used one on eBay.

Droped iphone, screen is only white, touch screen works.

put it in DFU mode while connected to the computer. to do this, hold the home and power buttons for 10 seconds and then let go of the power but keep on holding the home for 10 secs. the screen will be black and nothing will show up. go to itunes and click on your ipod on the left. then click restore. this should work.

No sound or movies

Yes it might be fixable. Try restoring it, plug your iPod into your computer and open iTunes. select your device in iTunes, and under the picture of your iPod model there should be a button that says "Restore," click it. It may take a few minutes to restore.
Hope this helps!

Ipod droped

Letting any electronic device go through a washing machine is not a good idea so I hope this was an accident. There is probably nothing that can be done to save your Ipod as fabric softner and soap that would be used are both things that would mess up the internal connections of any electronic device (not to mention the water). Assuming that the ipod did not also go through the dryer (which would create static electricity and probably fry the chips in the ipod also) you can try leaving the ipod sit out for a week or two and then hooking it up to a wall charger and waiting about five minutes to see if it will power on. I would recommend keeping something to put out an electrical fire handy if you decide to do this as I have seen Ipods catch fire when this is done. Also keep in mind the ipod will probably break down sooner rather then later if this works as the water will cause rust to occur on the inside of the device.

Ipod shuffle 2 gen

You will need to plug the player into your TV, not the DVD player. also, don't connect to TV using USB cable (if your TV has a USB cable). Get a 2-1 adapter that has one end plugged into headphone jack, and the other end plugged into a red and white audio IN port on your TV. Set TV channel to that IN port (Video1, AV1, or whatever your TV is calling that IN port.
