Question about Samsung RB215LASH
Can I alter the icemaker timing to dump ice and refill more often? The ice is PLENTY frozen. There just isn't nearly enough of it in summer. (Had for two years, very consistent). Other wise great fridge / freezer.
Ice makers will only drop cubes about every two hours. There is nothing you can do to speed it up. However, if you have low water pressure to the fridge, then you will have slow production. You need a minimum of 30-40 pounds (constant) of water pressure to the fridge for the ice maker to work properly. Things I typically see causing low pressure are: Self piercing saddle valves on the water line (need drill type), and reverse osmosis systems connected to the fridge. In some rare cases a very old water filter or limed up supply line.
