I have a magic Chef, electric range, model 3888VVV, the bottom coil (bake) stopped heating up, the top coil (broil) works fine. What are the potential causes? bad coil, bad igniter/

you should be able to buy one for between 400 to 600 dollars new.i would check lowes or home depot to see what they have in stock.
