Take a look at your bluray player make sure that it is wifi built in not wifi ready. If it is wifi ready you will need to get wireless adapter for the bluray. A common thing is for people to mistake wifi ready, that it is ready to connect to there wifi but it means that it is ready to connect to wifi with adapter :/ hope this helps :)

Pandora Activation Code Not Generating

I have the Samsung BD-E5400 Blu-Ray Disc. Pandora did not recognize my log in and I had to go online to Samsung.com and download the latest software update BSP-E5400WWB-1006.0 and save it on my computer in a zip file. Then I had to unzip it and save the RUF file with the same name BSP-E5400WWB-1006.0.RUF on a thumb drive. I inserted the thumb drive in the back of the Blu-Ray and went into settings/support/software upgrade and picked the option to upgrade by usb. This quickly uploaded the updated software and restarted my Blu-Ray. Everything was fine then. I was able to go into Pandora and it recognized my account and email/password.

How do I reset a Samsung blu ray DVD player bd p1600 model

Resetting Your Player To Factory Settings

Follow the steps below to reset your player. Resetting the player reverts all settings back to factory default meaning the network settings must be reconfigured after the reset is performed.

  1. Turn on your player and remove any discs wait until the front display reads No Disc
  2. Hold down the FF button on your BD player not your remote until the front display reads Reset about 8 sec and the player turns off.
  3. Press the power button to turn your player on. The Menu language selection screen appears, using the number buttons on your Blu ray remote select your language
The e-contents menu is displayed. Your player has been successfully reset. You will now have to reconfigure your network settings before you can launch any streaming services such as Netflix Pandora Blockbuster etc. If you need step by instructions click here to go to the Network Setup And Usage troubleshooting guide.

My Blu-Ray BDP1590 Samsung freezes at the title screen. After telling me "No Disc" as it has no disc, it says "load" on the player and will not respond from the intro screen where it gives the...

Hi,
Try to reset system at Samsung support. To do this you just take disc out, hold the FF button down on unit until you see "reset" then select language. Turn system off then hold power button for 15 sec. Then restart system. As far as Netflix you got to got to system, determine if you are using wireless or cable. You have to set this yourself.

You should also update your firmware here at http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/tv-video/blu-ray/blu-ray-players/BD-P1590/XAA/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&returnurl=
You will see a support tab, which has your download on it. I would try the CD based download first.Download the file, unzip it, and burn it onto a CD. Then, with the unit off, and unplugged, plug it in, open the drawer and insert the disk. Close the drawer and see if it will read the new files. If not, then try the same procedure on the USB option.

Thank you!

Is the LG BH200 compatible with Netflix on Demand?

Straight from the box, no.... they discontinued that model and the next one that came out supported Netflix right out of the box.

I do not think they offered a firmware upgrade that supported it either...

I have the BP-150 which does do Netflix... My remotes have 4 colored buttons on the bottom that allow you to select Netflix, youtube, pandora, nad blockbuster...

Connect it to the internet and see if you can update the firmware. Can hurt... well then again it can can't it....
