Sounds like maybe broke a ring or it's stuck. Old school fix for stuck rings is to fill cylinders with Marvels Mystery Oil, leave alone for a couple days, drain and try it.

Was riding when I started losing power. Then began pouring out smoke let it sit a few days, drained carbs and it fired right up,seamed to run fine except it still had little power.whats wrong with it

You probably broke a cylinder ring. The cylinders are dry when you haven't started them for a while and sometimes that extra friction catches a ring just right and breaks it. A break in the ring kills compression and therefore power. Also the ring allows oil to come up from the oil pan into the combustion chamber where it doesn't burn and you get all the smoke.
Run a compression check on each cylinder by putting a compression tester in the spark plug hole. If one reading is a lot lower than the average...you found your culprit

I had a similar experience with a 1970 Plymouth Duster, at 10 years old (1980) I flushed the engine and started running a little bit higher detergent oil and it also started smoking as you described, turned out with the engine as clean as it got the clearances of different internal oil retaining parts such as valve guides and piston rings were slightly bigger causing my engine to smoke,

Why is lawn tractor crankshaft pulley smoking

Sounds like something is binding. or belt is slipping. Does it smoke when not in gear. Check and see if everything turns by hand when out of gear and no motor running. Make sure its not binding anyplace. If that is ok Start it up and just idle the engine and try to run the deck and put it in gear. If that stalls it out then you do have a problem.

91 previa LE, 205K miles. diving Tucson to St George, UT, 800 pound load. After 3 hours at 65-75 mph, had to slow down as engine was struggling to keep up speed. Stop for gas, and engine was "tapping"...

It is probably a oil pressure problem. If there is some sort of small blockage in an oil journal it could stop oil from flowing to the lifters which would cause the the tapping noise. at this point the best thing to do would be to try and flush out the engine with some sort of desludging agent. One thing i usualy do is drain the oil and re-fill it with atf and run it for about half an hour or an hour and then re-drain and replace with normal engine oil. transmission fluid contains tonnes of detergents and should help clean out any blockages.
