Re: Setting up w/TV
Sync your remote with the wii. Open the small white door on the front of th wii and push the red button. Then open the back of the wii remote and push the red button there. The remote should sync and you should be fine.

Direct from the guys at nintendo:
Nintendo DSi & Nintendo DSi XL - Settings - Language
You will be asked which language (English, French, Spanish) to use during the first time setup of the system, but the language setting can also be done through the system settings. How to change the language:
On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings ("wrench") icon.
Select the right arrow thee times to go to page 4, then select "Language."
Select from the options options on the screen:
Select OK (the bottom-right button) to confirm and return to the System Settings.
Remove any disk and close the disk tray. Turn off your system and let it sit for a few seconds before turning it back on. Select the "Language" option from the main menu to open the language menu.
Move the cursor up using the directional pad on your controller until you get to "Language Select." Push the X button repeatedly until it lists "ENGLISH." This changes the audio settings from English to Spanish.
Scroll down to the "Subtitles" option in the language menu and change this setting to Spanish as well. The subtitles will appear in ENGLISH at the bottom of the screen every time a character in the game speaks. If you wish, you can skip this step and rely only on the audio settings.
Press the Circle button on your controller to move back to the main menu, which will save the settings. Select the correct time and date setting for your time zone, if the system asks you to do so. Push the Circle button again to access the main menu.
Place a PS2 game into your console and let the game load. You should now have ENGLISH, settings on your PS2, including subtitles.
I did setting up and come up w/ Language--ENGLISH and I hit confirm, nothing happen, it means the remote cannot talk w/ the Console, then I did the standard mode synchronization, still the same. How to make the communition betwenn the console and the remote?? Charlie
It is a console setting
Please follow these steps exactly:
Once the console starts move to the system blade
Incase you don't know which one that is go to the rightmost blade
Choose the top option (console settings) by pressing A
Then go down to the fourth option (languages) and press a
Select english from the list (good news is it should be in english)
I used this method to put it into french mode and then back again.
Hope that helps
