I don't know how to download or upload pictures from my Fuji Finepix Z5 camera, I don't have a USB cord for it so I will have to use the memory card. So what do I need, what program do I need to download to be able to download pictures from memory card to my computer?

If you have a memory card you can buy a usb card reader for
£5-10, all you do is plug it in to your computer and insert your memory card and it comes up as removable storage, you can then transfer pictures too and from the card and computer you dont need any software as it uses plug and play technology so its a simple case of plugging it in to your computer
hope this helps.

Upload from Nikon D5000

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.

ALTERNATE WAY TO TRANSFER PHOTOS TO COMPUTER
If your photos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos to your computer. Memory card reader is a handy device and is inexpensive. You can copy photos from other cameras and you can also download photos off your memory card to someone else's computer without the need of installing any programs.

Computer won't upload photos from camera

You neglected to specify the make and model of your camera, so I'm going to assume it uses a memory card of some type.

I put my memory card in printer, pressed the memory card button, and i see the pictures on the screen on printer. how do i upload them into the computer

There should be a program that came with the printer that will let you off load them onto your PC. Also, check on the printer for a button that will allow you to upload the pictures. If not then the camera came should have come with a USB cable that you can directly upload the pics to your PC. Hope that helps. Please leave feedback.
