Re: Can not be seen.
Can you check with your son regarding webcam use to anyone else???Does he have functions???Interaction at all???
Is there the same fault with his cam convesation to another person or is problem isolated to just you two???
I would check if his computers webcam has been updated,
(windows XP needs SP2 to function devices properly)
as long as he has XP tho.....
Try to reinstall the device again or contact the manufacturer for advise

You should be able to go from one program to another but you will need to reboot the webcam software as its not unusual for webcam software to remain hooked up to a previous program even if you exit from it correctly If the webcam is plugged into the USB just unplug it - when its not running - and wait a couple of seconds before plugging it back in If it's a built in webcam - you will have to restart your computer or navigate to Device Manager - open the Imaging folder -right click on the webcam text and disable and the enable the webcam after a couple of seconds
If the WEBcam is operating and you can create a video and take a photo, then the Skype video configuration has not been set up properly. Please click on this link and follow my instruction to configure the video settings in Skype :-
I had many problems with MSN Messenger several years ago (10) - I went to Yahoo and have not been disappointed at all - except if you have missed a notification (not in your email) online with Yahoo that your Messenger/IM has a newer update available, then it will not allow certain webcam activities with your chat buddy until you update.
What program are you using to send your video? MSN, AIM, YAhoo??? I've seen this happen under the multi-client program called Trillian and ***** was able to fix it.... try a different client with whoever your chatting with and you may be able to work through it... If you have more information to add(like what program your using) I will tweak my solution to help you more
Dursun, Hello this is a good start. I would make sure the exact model or at least the series for your webcam is the same as this download. I have a logitech quickcam myself and worst case maybe my CD can help you but if I lost it I can locate one on one. Let me know if this one works. Also I have gotten into the habit of saving a copy of each CD that comes with anything immediately on my hardrive and then burning those off to a DVD later on to have a super backup. As I get good at finding them online I think I will let this go but not yet.
