I have just purchased the new WII Warriors of Rock, (microphone, guitar & drums + game) which all work great. However I'm finding that the drums are not functioning when trying to use in conjunction with WII ACDC Rockband. Is this usual or am I overlooking something? Your help in this matter is greatly appreciatted. John

Have you connected the midi pro adapter. If not then reconnect. If yes, then remove and reconnect. The MIDI PRO-Adapter has been designed exclusively for use with Rock Band , and allows musicians to use most real MIDI keyboards and MIDI drum sets when playing the game. In addition, the MIDI PRO-Adapter will work in conjunction with the forthcoming Rock Band 3 Squire by Fender Stratocaster Guitar and Controller, a fully functional, full-sized, electric guitar with strings that also functions as a game controller for Rock Band 3's innovative Pro mode game play.

I just bought the warriors of rock guitar hero at best buy, have it all set up but doesnt recognize the microphone? Can anyone help? Drums and guitar work fine

if the item is used, it may be a problem with the actual item, otherwise, you should make sure that the game and system are up to date when it comes to updates.

Do I need more than one Wii remote for Band hero Wii????

you need a wii remote for each instrument and the microphone. you need one remote for the drums, one for the bass guitar player, one for the guitar, and one in close proximity to the microphone user. you have to set a wii remote near the microphone once the microphone is plugged into the USB port in the back of the wii console. i think there is something like a 10 foot radius meaning if the wii remote is too far from the microphone it will disconnect. so you can do only one instrument per wii remote you are using.

Rockband TrackPack

Unfortunately, the guitar that comes with the Guitar Hero does not work with Rock Band or Rock Band 2. Rock Band, as you mentioned, recognizes the Wiimote as the controller for the microphone.

Unfortunately, you will have to get a guitar that is specifically designed for Rock Band.

I know this isn't the answer that is popular, but if you vote for my solution, please vote at least "Thanks for Trying".

Playing Rock Band 2 without a microphone

you have to use the green and red keys on the guitar to navigate the software...not the WII remote if you want to use the guitar.. THe WII remote is ONLY used for the Microphone.

On the drums you use the red and Green drum to navigate for the drum...not the WII remote....

Rock Band Guitar -- flashing lights only -- won't connect

Hi!!! I had the SAME problem! My guitar would just blink and never sync with the wii. I finally got tired of waiting to hear from EA games for a replacement and took the thing apart! I was able to find the problem. One of the connections on the board was loose! If I pressed down on the loose connection it would sync! I had my husband re-solder it and now it works great! I've attached a picture of which connection was loose.
