Question about Sewing Machines
Have tried to get someone to fix this machine or find a manual for years. Even Baby Lock blows me off (they accidentally forwarded their in-house responses when I asked for help by email -- "you take this one" etc.! Go figure). At any rate, it's a small machine, came in a basket. Finding a users manual and a repair manual would be great. A screw fell into the machine; we need to get that out. Also find basic instructions like how to thread the bobbin!
SOURCE: Not picking up the Bobbin thread
Sounds like you have to take off the throat plate and clean out threads under it. Sometime they ball up and prevent the needle from going down and catching the bobbin thread. You can't see themuntil you take off the plate. Follow the directions. It is easy.

Well, here's an easy fix. It is either a class 15 or class 66. I would go to a local repair shop with your machine and they can try either of them . They are not real expensive.
