Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
On the bottom of the mother board just below the external power connector. You basically have to disassemble the entire computer, remove the MB from its metal shield and turn it over to get to it. I just fixed a Latitude 640 by re-soldering this component. It had a hairline crack on one of the legs' solder joint. Not sure what this component is but be careful about the amount of heat you use in case it is heat sensitive.
