It could be your port to your computer that went bad. If you have a graphics card for you computer that could have gone bad. It also could be the monitor port. If the port went bad on either side it will usually say something on the screen about it not having a connection to the port.

It also could be the backlight for the monitor . Sometimes you can tell if the backlight went bad if you turn on the computer and shine a flashlight at the screen. If you see an image then the backlight is bad.

Restart the computer if it doesn't boot try to restore to factory settings again.

Well, a lot depends on WHICH dashboard light went off. My "guess" is that it is one of the lights that are controlled by one of the computers in your vehicle (pretty safe guess). The ONLY way to find out why the computer turned the light on is to ask the computer.

Why Is My Engine Light On?

Replaced the MAF sensor - nothing. Took it to a authorized toyota shop & checked compression which check out good and put the computer on. Computer read mis-fire on cylinder 1, and then multiple misfire (like it would jump around). We went ahead and replaced the fuel injector on cylnder 1 - did not solve problem as when we hook the computer up, misfire seemed tp stay at idle and seem better when running high RMP, but check engine light is on as it never went away. Went ahead and replaced the coil pack to cylinder 1 - nothing. what am i missing?

You need to elaborate the issue a bit.
What exactly went wrong with the computer.
Did you installed anything in the computer after which the screen went blue?
Was there any kind of notification on your computer screen about any virus or so?
Are you able to start the computer to the desktop screen?

my zune went blank

it may be a computer problem too, best is to test the monitor on another computer..

your computer's USB port is older and is not recognizing your mp3 player so buy a new port or upgrade it from net. Thanks :)

the power plug on the laptop may be loose or broken

what you need to do is have the phone firmware reflash , take it to an authorised mobile service or mobile technician and have them reflash it for you
