Your photoconductor supply is used up you need to replace it before it does damage to the fuser assembly by dumping excessive toner in your printer once replaced be sure to follow the instructions that come with the new photoconductor to reset the count this is important.

HP LJ p2015 How do you replaced the feed roller on the 250 sheet tray? It is not in the service manual?

HP LaserJet P2015 Series Printer - Replace the pickup roller (tray 1)
  1. Unplug the power cord from the printer, and allow the printer to cool.

  2. Press the print-cartridge-door button to open the print-cartridge door.
    c00763905.gif
  3. Remove the print cartridge.
After removing the print cartridge, only handle it on the ends.
  4. Grasping the pickup-roller cover with thumb and forefinger, squeeze the left side of the pickup-roller cover to release the left retaining tab, and then slide the cover to the left and up.
Failure to slide the cover to the left when removing it can cause the right retaining tab to break.

  5. Press the two black retaining tabs outward until the pickup roller is released from its seat.

5x7 inch paper moves towards end of print and black ink smudges edge of paper

Check for any small paper jam. Check the rollers, also use an alcohol swab to clean the rollers and check for ink leaking. Check you ink pad, it could be time for a new one.

Black dots/blotches on the sides of printed sheets - whats is the cause and how t to fix it

If you have random blotches on both sides of the sheet, your printer probably needs cleaning, especially in the fuser section. If the fuser is difficult to get at, here's a good cheat developed for HP LaserJet 6 printers: Use a basic graphics program such as Microsoft Paint to draw three solid black rectangles about 2.5" top to bottom, going all the way across the paper (the space in between is not critical - the key is that you go as close to edge-to-edge as you can get). Print out this sheet.

Put the sheet back in the paper tray so it will print on the blank side (usually printed side up). Open up a quick text processor (Notepad in Windows). Type a single space, then print (some text editors won't print a document with no data in it). Dirt in the fuser will get stuck to the black areas on your cleaning sheet. Test your work by printing another copy of " ". Repeat with a new cleaning sheet if necessary.

IT CAN NOT PRINT EITHER IN BLACK NEITHER IN

The print head of your printer may be clogged or in worst case defective.Look for specialist who can uncork the print head.

Cannot fill a3 sheet

Have you set up the page as A3? If so, should be ok if you set the printer paper size to A3. If you set up the page on A4 you will need to tell the the printer to 'scale to A3' and it's best to say you want to preview before printing

Just trying to print 2181 Avery Laser Labels - "Paper Size or type is incorrect"

I have had this same problem trying to print DVD lable sheets.
I spent hours trying to work it out, HP support said it was the software(hmmm)
The answer to the problem is, the printer senses the printed block colour band on the preprinted lable sheet. I am using Fellowes - Neato DVD tempate sheets which have a black, block of colour on the leading edge, I'm not sure about Avery.
I found the quick fix is, turn the sheet around end for end against the manufacturers instructions. The opposite end is plain and goes through OK. You may have to calibrate the software to compensate if the printing starts in a different position this end, my sheets are the same within about 1mm.
You could also cut the block colour off the sheet if the direction was critical, and make allowance for the starting position.
I find the printer is good apart from this problem.
I hope this helps, it worked for me.
Regards, Rob.

Printer

This is an eye opener -- I always promised myself I wouldn't buy an all-in-one and I did.. I am on my 2nd model and now have the famous error 6A00 and 6800. Through much internet searching I found some advice -- more than I got from Canon. I went to the right side after gently moving the print head to the left and seached and there was a small piece of paper in there and I thought my problem was solved. I then printed only to find each sheet would feed incorrectly and the corner on the right side would fold for every sheet and then more paper ended up on the left side creating crinkled paper and finally the 6800 error. Nothing clears this error and now I am back to no printing. I have black fingers and am totally frustrated! My best advice -- if you are buying an all in one get the additional 3-yr contract and the thing will get replaced.
