NOTE: If you are not sure how to remove the Toner Cartridge, refer to Related Items at the bottom of this page.
the four yellow translucent Feed Rollers on the bottom floor of the
copier using your cotton swab. Thoroughly clean each Feed Roller all
the way around.
located a few inches behind the yellow Feed Rollers. Thoroughly clean
each Feed Roller all the way around.
at the bottom of the copier, you will see two grey Half Moon Rollers.
Turn the Half Moon Rollers away from you in a counter clockwise
direction to expose the round side. Thoroughly clean both Half Moon
Rollers all the way around.
If this did mot work then there is hardware failure in the printer you need to get it serviced from a local service center or if within warranty get it done by the company.....

You need new fuser assembly kit. The black gear that is supposed to be moving might have been totally broken.

Follow this manual. It has great instructions for clearing paper jams.

I'm sorry i meant to say that the wheels are "NOT" connecting and it makes a clicking sound.
Your #1 solution did not work. Let me try to explain in more detail. the horizontal piece that heats up is freely able to lift up when I have the copier open. When i press down on the closure button and fake that it is closed, all of the wheels on the top are turning appropriately. It seems like the horizontal piece (prioter???) is not locking down into position therefore the wheels that turn on the top are not making a good contact/fit to the loosely turning wheels on the bottom there fore the paper is not being pulled through. It seems that piece should somehow lock into position. I have checked that all of the loose turning wheels turned properly and the ones one the top turn when it thinks the copier is closed. Any other ideas?? should I check with another expert?
xerox XC830 table top copier. paper jam where the paper feeds into between the hot roller. When I open up the copier the part that heats up does not seem to be engaged where it needs to be and the wheels are not connecting on the ends to feed the paper through.
