Normal cycle light blinking, won't turn on MDB7609AWW1. Was told it was micro computer. Replaced it....same problem..Put old micro computer back in.. wife secured all wires and banged the machine and it started working tfor a few Days.. stopped with same old symptoms..I'm sure guru is correct and it is the touchpad, but his facing appears to be glued on,I don't wan't to ruin the front of the console , and I've not been able to find a touchpad part on the schematic or online. Help???

Have u tried unplugging it for about 2m and plug it bk in that will master reset everything like u just bought it and see how that's works out

check the main earth wire near the battery. and one near the rear of the lights. unbolt them and clean the connectors up put some grease on them after. then check again. remember that when the earth wires come off the radio code will be needed to reset the the radio. be safe and take the battery off.

TV will not turn on - Yellow power ind. Light blinks three times...
Fixed with a firmware update (hard to believe, but true). Search Google for a file named: 2007SEN069.zip (don't worry if the page you find it on doesn't mention the 37HL17 - it worked fine). Unzip the file, and copy the 3 folders and 3 files to the root of a small SD card. The SD card MUST be 2GB or less in size (I used a 1GB card), and it MUST be formatted with FAT-16 (not FAT-32). Mine was pre-formatted as FAT (FAT-16). The SD port is on the back of the TV behind a cover plate near the power cable. You do NOT need to remove the back cover of the TV, just the small cover plate (1 screw). UNPLUG the TV; remove the cover plate; insert the SD card (prepped as explained above); Plug in the TV; Watch the yellow lights blink, then turn blue, then go dark; UNPLUG the TV; remove the SD Card and replace the cover; Plug in the TV; Yellow lights will blink a few times (this is normal); when blinking stops, turn on the TV and you should be good to go. :-)

Most likely the touch panel.

Try this: remove your battery, unplug power, press and hold power button for at least 20 seconds, plug power cord back in but not the battery, press power and see if you get normal boot. If this is the case, your battery probably needs replaced.

check to make sure door switch is good

The 3 blinks on this model TV means you have a lamp cover error. When you install the cover look at the tab on the cover and make sure it is making contact with the micro switch inside the lamp housing. 

Actually, the button order to put it in a diagnostic cycle and clear the blinking clean light on the gu2500 is HEATED DRY, NORMAL, HEATED DRY, NORMAL not the other way around as Iden had posted.
