Try another PC or another USB port Make sure the hold/lock is not engaged
Reset Check for firmware update on Creative's website Get Recovery Tool from creative
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

I just purchased the Coby MP705 MP3 player. I plugged it into my computer to put some songs on it and to let it charge. Everything worked perfect. So I then plugged it back into my computer to put more somgs on it an to let it finish charging. When it turned back on it got frozen at the start up screen. It doesn't even turn off. I have to press the reset button just to turn it off. I even contacted the tech support thru an email an ha no response. I dont want to feel like I wasted my money..how can this fix???
