Question about RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8100
One way to do it (not the optimal solution) is say if you know someone who has an account with the company the phones are locked to (i.e. at&t) and you know someone on at&t you can have that person call and tell at&t that they want the phones unlocked. (the person MUST have an active account with the company) at&t will tell the person that they must use the phones for a couple of weeks to make sure that the phones are theirs. During this time they will pull the sim to ensure they are being used by this person, after this period they will send your friend the unlock code. then you can unlock the phones and use them.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
