Question about RCA RP5010 Digital Voice Recorder
How can I locate a FREE format conversion from using RCS's RP5120 Digital Recorder to MP3 format to copy to CD rom and use in my car, or Share with fellow classmates when recording lectures? my email is firstname.lastname@example.org
Version 4.04 of the software has a utility to convert to .VOC files to .WAV or even .EXE. (Are there really folks who would prefer to receive an .EXE file in email?)
I've read in several reviews that you can save .VOC files as .MP3 files using the provided software, but either this feature is no longer available, or the reviewers were mistaken.
You can convert .WAV files to .MP3 files simply. You may find one such converter for free on C|NET at:
A 5 minute google search (wav to mp3 freeware) revealed 3 absolutely free utilities which will do this. I, too, wish mp3 support was native with this product, but I can live with using these utilities.
