Call Asko Parts (866-223-5549), or use one of their recommended online suppliers such as repairclinic.com. While you're on the phone with Asko, ask them to send you the exploded view diagram for your model to make sure you get the right part #. Another option is to call Asko Service (800-898-1879), and ask for a list of servicing companies in your zip code or region. One or more of them may stock replacement parts.

Drain pump small black insert, found in the sump area. Where can I find one of these for my ASKO D1706 Dishwasher?

call asko directly, or call Great Plains Appliance Parts. Don't know the numbers, but Asko stocks parts in Texas, and Great Plains stocks them in Denver.

Try a few drops of liquid wrench on it, wait half an hour and try turning counter clockwise again.

I also had this problem. Support person couldn't tell me if the pump was supposed to run even when setting the control knob to 'off' (bar before (1)). After draining the pan, the control knob functioned normally. So apparently any power to the unit will run the pump when the overflow pan is filled, no matter the position of the knob.

Asko D1706 No water in the sprinklers

You can get access to the base from behind the dishwasher ,you will find about 6 screws to remove the back panel at the bottom to see if its leaking.

Check if there is water on the bottom pan. Remove the panel down on the backside of the machine and look. If it's water there, wipe it well up with a towel or so.
