One of your codecs is causing this. You'll have to review the ones you've installed, and change its configuration.

The GSpot tool may help you figure out the offender:

How do i fix the black screen of ***** on my windows vista?

The problem is not the fix, the problem is finding out which problem of many possibilities is causing the the black screen.
This requires some troubleshooting.
I assume you are using a PC.
The first step is to turn on the monitor first.
Make sure the power on indicator LED on the monitor comes on.
Then boot the PC. Make sure the CPU fan comes on inside the PC.
(If you are running a laptop and the screen is always black, it is usually the flexible cable joining the screen to the main body has broken. A hardware problem)
Does anything show up on the screen?

If no, check the CPU cooler inside the PC.
If it is plugged up with dust and lint, you may have a burned out CPU that will have to be replaced. (A lack of cooling air causes the CPU to overheat and fail when the safety does not work. A common problem.)

If yes, get a Linux boot CDROM/DVD, boot on the Linux CDROM/DVD, and follow the instructions to run CLAM antivirus under Linux.
When the screen goes black during boot, and stays black, the problem is usually a "Root Kit" virus.
You can not remove these viruses with a normal Windows antivirus program. They are too deeply embedded in the system.

This is the start of the troubleshooting procedure.
You really need somebody "on-site" to troubleshoot a problem that is this complex.

How do I get full screen for videos?

It depends on the player software you're using... If you're using Windows Media Player, just double click on the video screen, or press Alt+Enter.
For other programs, right click on the video screen and look for the Full Screen or Video Size option!

In case of a problem or clarification or my solution was insufficient, don't hesitate to post me a reply.
If you are satisfied, rate my solution with the "thumbs" or (even better) add a testimonial.

It's always recommended to increase the size of paging file by 1.5 times the size of RAM.What will happen if i increase the size of paging file to say 4 times the size of my actual RAM, will it effect the...

The size of the pagin file should be twice the RAM. Increasing it won't bring you any additional total performance, however there is a slight chance it will barely decrease it. Specifically CPU, it won't change anything in your CPU performance.

I have Magix movie edit pro 17 and by the time i am done editing a video the sound is out of sync by 2-3 seconds. When I click on edit frame table (as lots of boards suggest), the sound is in sync for...

This is actually a problem in the software. It rounds up the 29.97 frames per second to 30, but doesn't adjust the audio to match. It has been a problem since version 11, and MAGIX has made no effort to fix it.

The workaround is to create a Frame Table (right click the video track and click the Create Frame Table option on the menu.) It will take quite a while to create the table but some people have had good success with this.

Software disc is smaller than usual it safe to insert into my imac drive to down load to my computer ? will it eject ? Thanks

Hi Don,
  • Software install disks sometime are sent on mini disks, and should be fine to load in you disk player. Just make sure that it is centered. On most cd players there is a smaller grove in the middle just for minis. Many people don't even notice because minis are not very common in the States.

If this helps resolve your issue, would you please rate the solution. If this does not help please leave a comment giving me more information on the problem and I will try to help you further.

The photos on the frame aapear

You may have to change the screen resolution on the frame if it can be changed. Some frames do not allow a change in this way. If you cannot change the resolution then try changing the size and resolution of the photo's on your camera. You may have to change things several times until you find the best fit. Refer to the manual for the frame on how to change the frames display size and resolution..

right click on the shortcut of turbo c and go to compatibly tab and choose the option of run the program in windows xp os and run as administrator .

Step 1: Open TC++ (normally C:\TC\BIN\TC.EXE). In the startup it will show a dialogue box that it
doesn’t support full screen mode as seen in the picture below.
Just select ignore option. Then it will open the small screen mode

Step 2: Go to the top left of the window and click. It will show a menu as shown in the figure.
Then select properties from the menu

Step 3: Now it will show the properties window, in which you select the Font tab.
There you can see two font options as Raster and Lucida Console. The default will be Raster.
You select Lucida Console and select the size from the size list as 28.

Step 4: After selecting the fonts, now you have to select the layout tab where you can see
screen buffer size, window size, and window position options.
First unselect the “Let system position window” option from window position options.
Now make the following changes:

Screen Buffer Size: Width: 82 Height: 28
Window Size: Width: 80 Height: 26
Window Position: Left: -4 Top: -4

I have a dual monitor setup, get things to open on the screen they

Standard xp instructions here. Set right screen as primary.
Beyond that, controls depend to some extent on what graphics card you have installed.
You could try adding a quick launch icon to the toolbar on the second monitor, and see if that works in xp. If that doesn't work, you may have to open them from a command line and specify which monitor to use.
A simple way to do so is to get a copy of Ultramon. See here. You can download a 30 day trial and check it out.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!
