Try to run your liveupdate then restart your pc. if this still happens, try to download intelligent updater here.

look for the one that is compatible with your norton and after downloading it, run it and then restart your computer. this should fix your problem.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

g'day!!

this is what technicians call the dreaded "Blue Screen Of Deaths" or BSOD. I have been been a victim this a couple of times. do the following solutions:
A.
1. reboot your PC to Safe Mode. to do this, once you reboot press down F8 as it is booting. you will be then be presented with a menu with "Safe Mode" as it's option. using the arrow key to navigate to option required -Safe Mode-. press [Enter ] to confirm your choice..
2. once it's done, your laptop is now in safe mode. take note that the display appears to be larger than in your normal boot. don't worry..
3. reboot again, if everything if all went well, then it will go back to the normal display and everything is ok. if not, then you and it goes back to the BSOD the do solution B.
B. the operating system might be corrupted. the only solution is to have your laptop reformatted and a new operating system installed.

cheers mate!

Monitor won't stay on. Error message comes up that says "no input signal", then monitor goes out.

Problem with the monitor, monitor cable, or video output. For monitor, if you have more than one input, make sure it's set to the correct one. Try a different cable. Try a different monitor. Check your video card settings--if you see the BIOS bootup screen while it's coming up then the Windows splash screen, then monitor blanks out, it's a Windows display setting. Boot into safe mode, then change settings--
  • Turn the computer on or Restart the computer
  • Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Boot Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
  • Ensure that the Safe mode option is selected (the top option)
  • Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.
  • When you are finished with troubleshooting, close all programs and restart the computer as you normally would.

Norton 360.no 1&3 keeps going down(Browsing not safe: Auto=Protect off)

Hey,

Seems the protection is turned off, you need to turn it on, if you can't turn it on, may be best to remove and then install the program again to solve the problem,

Thanks,
