I have a maytag neptune front load washer mah9700, and i need to know how to reset it. its on a quick wash cycle, but it has a delay for the door to lock , then when it does, it does nothing. it has a...

The "nd" error code on a Maytag Neptune MAH9700 means that the water level is not draining quickly enough or at all, in some cases a symptom of a restricted drain system or a hose twist. If you have the tools and don't want to call a repair technician, the service manual (found at http://www.applianceblog.com/manuals/16025909.pdf), recommends the following steps:
1. Check for restricted drain system. 2. In cold climates, check for frozen drain hose. 3. Check for 120 VAC at the pump when a spin cycle is selected. 4. Check pump motor winding resistance. (14.2 +/- 7% ohms) 5. Check that the machine control correctly senses the water level in the washer [by performing the] Board Input Test [found in the manual]. 6. [Perform the] Board Output Test and perform the Pump Out Test. 7. Check the Machine Control Board connections at CN10 (Pin 6) for the pump. Should see 110-120VAC.(Refer to the component testing procedure). 8. Check tub to pump hose for twist in hose.
I would recommend trying several of these steps that are within your comfort level. If the problem persists, it may best be solved by a licensed repairman.

My dishwasher sounds as if the motor is running but there is no water spraying.

Most likely cause is the spray arms are blocked. You need to ensure it is the wash pump motor that is running and not the drain motor. Do you see water sitting at the base of the dishwasher? Does the machine complete a wash cycle (even if the water does not appear to circulate)?

We get water on the garage floor every once in a while. I assume it has to do with the defrost cycle but what is wrong and how do we stop it?

Check all your gaskets and make sure the doors close tightly.

Water on the floor is an indication that there is moisture within the unit that is melting or de-icing during defrost. The amount of water is too much for the drain pan to handle.

There could also be a charge issue here. The system could have a refrigerant leak, undercharge, or restriction that is hindering the systems performance and creating your problems as well.

Check your gaskets and hinges. Make sure the doors are always closed tightly, and look under the unit for a drain pan. Check to see if its full and overflowing. Or maybe the drain line has been moved and doesn't not drain into the pan anymore.

If all else fails, have someone check it out if the problem continues or gets worse.

Hoover HCA390FFK not draining through drain plug

A common problem is a blocked drain tube. Using compressed air, blow through the tube to clear it. Also, make sure that th refrigerator is level in both directions to allow proper pitch for draining.

Dishwasher tripping fuse box

Has the door got any heavier, as mine started tripping the electrics when a spring broke and short circuited the connections.
f so you will have to get the spring out, from the underneath is best and replace it if you want the door to work correctly again. On mine the second one went a month later.
