SOURCE: karcher k2 power washer inlet-outlet manifold cracked along weld

well depends did u use it in cold tempatures if so no it was u. if not then most likely or could have been just a crazzy thought here that there was a electrical discharge when it was pluged in and cracked the block on it but honestly thats 1/10000000000000 chance of happening. or it overheated and cracked it but relistically if its new then just take it back and play dumb or if its still under warrenty play dumb and get it fixed. aslo u can search for a new part on craigslist or ebay. last but not least if its not uner warrenty or new to take back or u cant find a part either thru the ones i listed or by calling the man. ur last resort is to just throw it away.

Leaking water randomly on the floor. I have replaced the p tube and it is still leaking. I noticed the evaporation pan is cracked, but I can't find any videos on how to replace.

Hi Sandra:
Without much doubt, a cracked evap tray would be a likely source for the leak.
May I suggest you attempt repair using any of the following depending on the material that the tray is made of:
- PVC plastic cement
- ABS plastic cement
- 2 component epoxy
- JB Weld
Personally, I would use sandpaper to rough up the tray adjacent to the crack, and try the JB Weld.

Honeywell humidifier htt-145 leaking from bottom

If you can locate a crack in the clear plastic tank, there may be a chemical you can buy to "weld" the crack closed. If you aren't sure what plastic it is, you might try sealing the crack with bathroom caulk that is mold resistant. You must locate the source of the leak and patch that.

How do you get windscreen washer out off a ford escort botlee has a crack in it.

pull and twist the pump out of the bottle, it goes through a rubber grommet, you can use washing up liquid to make it slip out easier. If you take the bottle out of the car you can weld the plastic back together with a hot knife or screwdriver, check it for leaks and weld some more if its still leaking. the plastic will weld quite good - this should do the trick..

Dishwasher tub leaks underneath

Hello. Anything is worth trying! But I would recommend epoxy. It works alot better with plastic and rubber items. Most of the leaks I have found in Kenmore machines are at the water pump. You may want to take a peek while it's running, just stay away from the wires!! Thanks!

Trunk leak

Check for defective spot welds around the plastic inserts on the left and right sides of the trunk. If the spot welds burnt through the metal, there will be holes were water can get in. Use some JB Marine Weld to seal up any holes or cracks in the sheet metal. Also, check the rubber drain holes under those inserts, that are in the sheet metal of the car, to make sure they are not blocked with road dirt. Also, check the weather stripping on the outside of the car, adjacent to the trunk. If the rubber and chrome trim weather stripping is pulling out (on the exterior of the rear quarter panel), then water will leak through the little plastic attaching screws and into the trunk beneath the plastic containers on the left and right front sides of the trunk.

Plastic radiator repair

I doubt you can actually fix it "yourself", but you can save lots of money by taking it to a radiator shop instead of buying a used or new radiator. They can replace the plastic tank for the bad side, but it is usually the drivers side because this is where the hottest water exits the engine and causes the plastic to crack. I removed the radiator myself and took mine to a shop and they repaired it for $40........cannot repair yourself because the tank has to be crimped on!!!! And radiator "stop leak" products will not work because they are for metal tanks!!!

Bread pan leaks

Dry the pan completely. Fill pan halfway with water - do not spill any water on the outside. Carefully lift up to view the bottom and see where it is leaking. If it is leaking around the central shaft, this solution will not work. If it is leaking out between the pan and the round drive assembly it is probably leaking near one of the rivets. Or it may be leaking elsewhere from a small crack elsewhere on the bottom (less likely). Mine had a hairline crack near the rounded ridge near one of the rivets. (It came from forcing the pan into the bread maker when the cross pins were not aligned properly. Turn paddle from underneath until it need not be forced.) I covered the crack area with a thin coating of J-B Weld. First, I roughed the area with an old dental tool and cleaned with acetone (Lowes hardware). I used a Q-tip with the end cut off to apply the mixed J-B Weld. J-B Weld is good up to 600 degrees F. Any high temp epoxy would work. I got J-B Weld at a local Advance auto store for about 4-5 dollars. I have made 3 loaves so far. No leak!. A very thin layer of crust sticks to the J-B Weld - not really a problem. Some Teflon paint should fix that.
