I'm not sure how to hook up my Durabrand DWT1304 to the cable cord. I'm new at this.

Connect the cable cord to the ANT IN connector on the back of the TV. Here are the instructions with a diagram:

Note: This is not a digital ready TV. If your cable signals are digital or encrypted you will need a cable box to convert them.

Durabrand tv, model BH2404D. Would like to know if digital ready

All information I found indicated that this is an NTSC receiver and will require a converter box to receive the coming digital broadcast signals. If you have cable or satellite, the drop-dead date is later and up to the provider.

Tuner

Yes, you will need the converter box in order to view the digital channels if you are receiving off the air signals but if you have cable or satellite TV, you might not needed. You can click here to know the specs of your TV, it has an analog tuner and not a digital.

No, unless you are receiving over cable or satellite. You will need a DTV converter box if you are using an antenna to receive Over The Air television signals. The Proscan has an analog only tuner, so the ATSC (digital) signals will not be visible.
