Hi mikepam

The load rollers will have something on them or have just given up the ghost. The load mechanism may also be out of alignment, or the load motor stopped functioning. Either way, you will need to get the unit serviced.

My canon MP480 keeps poping up a 5100 error

That error is a Carriage error, which means that the printer carriage (the bit that holds the cartridges) is unable to move or similar.

Make sure you've installed the cartridges correctly and that the grey lever that holds down the printhead is in the down and locked position.

You may find that you've installed the printhead incorrectly so worth pulling out the cartridges, removing the printhead and then reseating it so the lever goes down to a horizontal position. Then reinsert the cartridges.

My Cd Player in my car wont take in any discs

Hello you probably have one stuck inside use a flash light press eject and see with your flash light if a disc is surfacing sometimes they get stuck and need a little bit of pres-wading.if this is not the situation perhaps your cd carriage is stuck in eject position if so you will need to have a service technician repair it.

Epson R320 "General Error" message - unable to clear

If you are getting a 'carriage jam' error as soon as you turn on your Epson printer with no tasks in progress, then check for any piece of paper stuck in the carriage. Remove the paper carefully. If the paper tears, part of it might remain inside the paper path and damage the product.

Fix 'Carriage Jam' : Open Door, clear carriage jam,
and then press OK to continue' error message
Turn off the printer and open it to see where the paper is stuck.
Manually move the carriage toward the opposite side.
Check the paper path and remove any piece of paper or any other object that is stuck in the path.
Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.

Here is how to get the ink cartridges to move to the changing position on the R320.

1. Press the paper jam/ink button on the printer control panel.
2. A menu comes up. 1st item is ink cartridge replacement. Press
OK button.
3. Another menu with ink cartridge replacement. Press OK button.
4. Thats it, ink cartridges move to the changing position. Change your cartridge as you normally would and follow prompts on screen to finish process.

Hope this helps.

Tape stuck in VCR

First locate the load and unload motor, it is the one with the rubber drive band. release the drive band and rotate the gear to raise and pull the carriage back into position.
This should remove your cassette, and put the carriage back into position.

Can't insert tape into deck

Remove the cover again and move the tape carriage all the way towards the front (the carriage is not fully in the locked position). Once that is done you should be able to load a cassette again.
