Question about Dell Latitude D600 Notebook
It appears no adapter works with it and when trying to flash bios, i am warned to fix battery and adapter even though both are connected properly.
meanwhile, the same adapter charged another laptop.
what may be wrong?
It is a pretty common failure, the power connection to the motherboard is cracked or broken and the Motherboard is no longer detecting the AC adapter.
Many places on Ebay advertise power jack repair service for about $100.
I also found motherboards for the D600 on ebay for about the same price. I chose the new motherboard option.
Of course, if the system is under warranty, contact Dell for repairs.
