Question about MP3 & Digital Media Players

Hey mate I'm just curious about what keeps you going on and on - 5000 solutions soon, from what I can see, 0-2 premium solutions and 0 chats, your spending alot of time here and not getting anything back except maybe a good feeling now and then from solving a problem? Really great job, what keeps you going forward?

    well there aren't that many chats available on the area you have set on the expertice. I know what you mean, it feels good to solve a problem for someone. But I got tired of it at 2000 just focusing solveing the premiums and chats now a days - I get back something for my time, I just don't have the energy for the free ones anymore.

    hes pretty much picking up any chat that comes up, not sure if thats such a good idea on hes part..



    so if you wan't to make some money on the side you need to expand your expertice field, assumeing your not only a mp3 expert :)

I discovered about two years ago that my life is more meaningful when I am helping people. It definitely keeps me out of trouble. :-)
My co-workers think I'm nuts, because I do tech support for a living as well, and then I come home and take on more problems. I like the troubleshooting aspect of my job - not the "break the bad news" part of the job.

I probably made a mistake early by going back too far into the problem bins - since those solutions are stuck as unrated, it pulls my average down. If I could just get back up to 85%, then more people would notice me and ask about premium chats - as it is, I sometimes leave the chat tool open for hours, and I have yet to get a request.

Your player supports only the SMV video file format, so every video you want to play with it has to be converted first!

My Sansa Fuze was acting slow and freezing and the radio and voice recorder were the only things that worked.i reset the factory settings and its not acting slow anymore.now it keeps skipping the songs and...

to add files to walkman i open the walkman icon that appears when i connect to pc an find and open folder named songs....drag and drop your song files ( as mp3) and thats all

When I have downloaded my mp3 folders to my Tevion mp4 player they have to be accessed track by track. How can I get them to be browsable by folder? Gill

i've had the same problem. If you go the the tevion site they have a live chat function and someone can talk you through the problem. It has taken me ten mins to get everything working. They give you the option to have a transcript emailed to you as well. Excellent service. And don't worry, I didn't feel silly, I would never have got the solution from the manual!!

It depends really. The techs that answer questions here are doing it on a volunteer basis when we answer non premium questions. Really there is no way to say how long a question may take to get answered. Theres no guarantee it will be at all. I've seen questions get posted and answered within 5 minutes, it ranges by the time of day, who is on answering questions, or even how tough of a question you asked. If you really have an important issue that you really need answered then premium questions would greatly increase the likelyhood of you getting a response in a timely fashion. In addition to that, you may get numerous responses if you got the premium question route. Otherwise, I'd say ask your question and give it a day or two and check back.
