Were you playing with the NAM settings? did you go from NAM1 to NAM2? and did you already try the calculator stuff with no such help? Believe me I downloaded the calculator too trying to figure it out. Try what I have written below, this will work I did it on my phone. If what I said below still doesn't work for you, I suggest calling your phone company's customer service line or your local store of go to the brand name phone's website and fine the service number there.

Dial *22899 and press SEND to program the phone. after it has finished downloading the programming information, the phone will reset. The Lock code will now be set to the last 4 digits of your phone number. when you have finished, be sure to switch back to NAM1 and dial *22899 again to re-program it.

    I got this from this url:http://www.fixya.com/support/t3059795-sw... hed_nam2_not_know_lock_code

My phone gave me two options emergency call and unlock. click emergency call and dial the number given above. it will take a little bit and you may get an automated voice but don't do anything until it says your phone was activated or that it was successful. then end call and unlock your phone with the last four digits of the number you originally had for that phone (ex. if your phone number is 123-4567 you would type in 4567 to unlock it). then go back to settings and switch it back to NAM1 it will restart and reset again, do the same process and call that number *22899 and wait again. then unlock with your number again and everything will be hunky dory.

Ok i sent an email to sumsung and i got this response

Thank you for your email. If you switched the NAM to NAM2 you will need to calculate the code. Listed below are the steps on how to do so:
1.Obtain the Hexadecimal ESN of the phone. The ESN should be printed on the sticker on the back of the phone, under the battery. The Hexadecimal ESN is the one with letters and numbers.
2.Open Windows calculator by going to Start -> Run -> type in "calc", then click OK
In the Calculator, click "View" then "Scientific".
3.Click on Hex and type in the Hex ESN
4.Click on Dec for the decimal conversion and use the last four digits for the code on the handset
5.Once the code is entered and the menu can be accessed, switch the NAM to NAM1

What you've done is make your phone think it has two phone numbers all you have to do is take it to the verizon store and they'll fix it in like 5 minutes (i just had to do it today)

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

If you put your phone on nam2, like i did, you need to call samsung's hotline. customer service can provide you with the nam2 access code. Verizon would make you pay 59.99 to get a reflash to basically do the same thing. samsung's number is on the back of your phone
