I can play CD's burn CD's anything CD's but nothing with my DVDs. It says I have Sony DVD =-RW AW Q160S installed. It also says it's working properly, but it's obviously not. Like I said, can't play a DVD, and I can't even load my Roxio Creator 10 onto my computer because it's in a DVD format. HELP PLEASE!

The 4600 has PowerDVD to play DVDs (You should have the software CD to install it on the 3000) DVD burning software would be Roxio/Sonic, and you should have that CD too.
If you don't have the CDs, then try download.com to download Free player software and Burning software
Alright. Seems like Windows, for some reason, doesn't think your drive is able to burn things when trying to deal with this kind of disc.
I'll need further information, like if you use another program to burn music CDs, and what other things might have changed the registry settings. I know of a fix that resolves issues with the Windows version of data CD burning, but it only applies to CD-R and CR-RW drives..
