What is error code DSI internet connect 05110-1 mean

Hi,

Im going to guess that your wireless router is a "wireless-n". If it is then you will have to go into your router settings and change it to either G and N or just G as the DSi does not support the wireless-n configuration.

This error code means that there was an error with the Auto-Obtain IP address setting. Review this information. NOTE: You may have to set the DNS to Auto-Obtain with the IP address.

If you don't use Auto-Obtain, check the WEP/WPA key. Make sure it matches with the key on the router.

the dsi is trying to connect to connection file 2 ?? usually your home wireless connection is file 1 ? edit connection 2 with the same details that are in connection file 1 , or tell the dsi to use connection file 1 instead hope this helps ?? let me know

you need a wireless router and use the WFC setup tool to access it if you see the name or your router displayed (possibly with others) and the lock icon is blue you can use it without a WEP key, if the icon is red enter your WEP and proceed with a connection check, if the lock icon is grey it is unusable altogether. hope i helped.

You have to go to (support.nintendo.com) and it would say on the left side fo your computer and where it says error code you type that number in and what kind of system it is and your language then click go and it will show you what you did wrong and how to fix it.
