I think i have an older model, TPF303AWA, and i didn't find the number under the oven, but rather i popped-up the range and it was on the rear left side.

My Mod# is on the very bottom of the oven, i had to pull out the broiler drawer to find. It was then on the right side about 8" in on the right.

Owen fan always run, after plug owen in. How to stop it or reset it?

Your Fan thermostat has failed, now the cooling fan will run forever trying to cool the broken part... Look for the thermostat in the wiring diagram that is with the oven, meter it for continuity, and if it fails, use the model number to order a new part from a local part store- your model number represents nothing here in America or I would tell you the part #! Our oven has stopped heating to the right temperature. It does ignite and warm slightly

Hello Kathy;

My name is peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

It sounds like you have a bad oven control board. Don't worry. I just put in a remanufactured control board. The board was $35.00.
Purchased Locally was $256.00.

Send me the model number on your oven. Open the door and look at the metal plate. I will talk you through the part source and repair

We have had a power failure and the oven will not work unless the clock is reset but the manual instructions do not help as the knob does not change the time.

Every one of these things has a different method for changing the time/resetting the clock. You'll have to provide a make and model number.

WHERE CAN I BUY REPLACEMENT IGNITER PARTS?

Hello;

My name is Peter. I am a retired field service appliance technician.

You did not provide a model number so I can not provide more information.

Be careful, it may not be the igniter. It could be the Hi-Temp thermostat or some other $12.00 component. The igniter is about $35.00.

Gaggenau oven BO 270 error code E005

We have a Gaggenau BO250/251. It gave error code E005, and after a lot of frustration, we opened the left hand light (NOT the light at the top of the owen) and fiddled a little with the bulb. And voila, the owen worked again.

Stupid design to disable the owen when the light does not work. Bravo, Gaggenau....

Oven turns on gas but doesnt ignite until theres gas build up and has small explosion. kenmore model 362.75702001

Hello,
What is causing that is a weak oven igniter that is not strong enough to fully open the gas valve yet just open it a little,letting gas accumalate in the oven then finally the igniter gets to full strenght and all the gas explodes. By replacing the igniter with a new strong one it will stop that.
The igniter is pretty easy to replace. Just remove the floor of the oven and the wing looking flame spreader, the screws that hold igniter to bake burner can be removed, and disconnect wiring.Then attach new igniter to burner reconnect wires and reinstall spreader and floor .
The part number for igniter is WB13K21 it could be purchased at your local appliance parts store or online at;

searspartsdirect.com

I hope i have been able to help you fix your oven,

Hello and thank you for your help. My lower oven will not ignite while the smaller upper oven will. ?????? Thank you Rob

most likely all you have is a bad ignitor.if it glows it should ignite the flame in less than 40 seconds,if it doesn't glow,pull it out and read it out with a meter.next time send the model number.good luck.

Our Kenmore oven does not come on/heat up. I think it is the igniter that isn't working, but can't find the info on when we bought the range to know whether it might be worth having a repairman out or if...

if you open the bottom draw,on the frame you should see amodel number and serial number,all you need is a model number,most likely it will be the ignitor,pull out the racks,lift up the floor and you'll see the ignitor,first unplug it or shut down the breaker.remove the screws that hold the ignitor in place,if you don't see an ignitor it might not have one,but if it does take out the screws and pull the wires out,there should be a plug or wire nuts,disconnect them and check it with a meter,if it's bad change it out,first get back to me with the model number,if the top lifts up where the burners are the number could be up there too.don't force the top up,if it's tight and doesn't seem like it doesn't lift don't force it.

Oven takes too long to heat up sometimes wont even go to the temperature ignitor is working well can see the glow magic chef model 3488vvv serial 13368882kz

Hello there:
Hi,

When you turn the oven on, open the oven door and look down at the bottom and see if its glowing red, it should glow red for about 45-60 seconds then you should hear the gas ignite. If the gas doesn't ignite, then your igniter glow bar is bad.

Here's the oven glow bar igniter for your model:

MY oven is not working. The burners and broiler do work.This is a gas oven.

If you can see the oven ignitor glowing bright orange when you turn theoven control on to say 350 degrees. (look down at the back bottom of the oven compartment near the back wall of the oven).

If there is no glow, then you have a faulty ignitor. If you can see the ignitor glowing and the owen doesn't light, then it is the thermocouple that controls the flow of gas from gas supply valve that is bad.

You'll need to replace the defective part(s) to get the oven working properly. You can find the parts on the link included along with some pricing at searspartsdirect.com but you can buy parts anywhere you wish.

You'll have to pick which oven version you have as you need one more letter at the end of your model number (it's usually a small printed letter after the larger model number on the label eg: A, B, or C.) so you can look at the parts list to select the correct parts for your oven.

Hope this helps you get cooking again! Best Regards!
