Lexmark x7350 will not scan, fax or copy

My printer suddenly stopped scanning, faxing and copying. I bought it in February 2008 and it has a 12 month warranty. When I t ry to scan or fax or copy, it makes a strange noise and it looks like the light bar is not moving.

I think a printer should last longer than 4 months. What can I do to get this fixed?

That is what I did. and they sent me a new one. I hope it doesn't quit working like the first one.

There should b e a way to update these problems so people would know when a problem has been solved.

printers need regular care and maintenance. the reason that they quit is due to the lack of maintenance..you may find the link and resources listed there, to be helpful
