Sounds to me its a bad hard drive. Set it as slave and install it into another PC with enough empty hard drive space to copy all needed files. Try to observe also your hard drive if there's any clunking sounds and if it does any, eventually that drive of yours is just waiting the right time to give in.

Back up your files as soon as possible.

Too many errors

what sort of errors you could run the chkdsk utility click start right click on my computer you should see your drive usually C: select properties click tools check now tick both boxes automatically fix files and scan for and attempt recovery on any bad sectors or you could tick one box and wait until its finished then return and tick the other box

then select check now, start should schedule this task when restart
it will only schedule on restart if its the Primary hard drive with an operating system on it
do not do anything while the chkdsk utility is in progress any input may damage your computer

or if the errors are of another nature you might need to download an all in one optimizer or a registry cleaner
there are lots of freeware ones on the internet

if you need more help finding an optimizer post a reply

hope it helps

My dell was not turned off correctly. Now I am in that black screen (white writing) and rolling over and over. I tried safe mode ,etc and can not get past this same page. If I could bypass this black page...

Restart your computer now as soon as you hit the power button keep on holding Alt key & keep on tapping F10 key Alt+F10 it will open the recovery console select full factory restore and follow on screen instruction

(Note:this will erase all datas on the computer)

During the boot process you will see on the screen to press a certain key to enter setup
Press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys you can load failsafe defaults or load optimized defaults ,press escape then press f10 to save to cmos to restart

hope this helps you

A drive error press f2 to continue f1 to center setup y cuando lo hago dice error boot sequence

for it first of all check both side connectors of data cable of hard disk. because sometime loose connection may produce such problem. Now also check the power connector of hard disk. if problem does not solved, then at last check the BIOS setting and confirm in ADVANCE OPTIONS that, is your hard drive is detected by BIOS or not.

I'm locked out my labtop and its a dell I can't remember my password

Either boot from the Windows CD and format the drive and reinstall Windows.

Or, look for a free suite of programs call HiRens
-Burn it to disk and boot your system from it (Put it in the cd drive and restart - it should be picked up by default, if not, you'll have to change the boot order in the BIOS)
-Use a program on the disk called Active Password Changer

This will let you reset all local user account passwords.

There is not much else you can do if you don't know any logon passwords. But HiRens works for me everytime I need to do this on a users system.

Power spec t110 what is the process that pc would run smooth insted going. everytime is restarts it asking me f1 to restart

Sounds like your power cable is bad, or some other hardware component has gone. Check to see if your power cable is good (borrow one from a friend, or take it test best buy for testing), and then contact Dell if the issue still isn't resolved.

Install MS office home and student 2007

Reboot

Shut down any active protection software such any antivirus, antispyware, antitrojan, or registry monitoring software.

Try to Unistall by using the install disk. It should detect a previous installation and ask if you want to Install, Repair, or Uninstall.

If that fails, download and run CCleaner - Use the Cleaner and Regisrty modules default settings
http://www.ccleaner.com/

Reboot, and shut down active protection software.

Download and run Windows Installer CleanUp Utility.
http://support.microsoft.com/KB/290301
Remove the applicable entries.

Reboot, and shut down active protection software.

Reinstall

Hope this helps - good luck!
